Kira wanted a patch as his Christmas present (in the discussion in the previous post), so here it is. As usual, some stats first:
- Sora: 8288/8288 (100.00%)
- Nao: 5565/7311 (76.12%)
- Akira: 7890/8793 (89.73%)
- Kazuha: 6634/6634 (100.00%)
- Motoka: 1966/6261 (31.40%)
- Common: 2096/2096 (100.00%)
Total: 32439/39383 (82.37%).
I have bad news and good news. Good news is that translation of main content of Akira’s route was finished. The bad news is that h-scenes are not translated yet (I am to blame for that) and quality is not good enough for a decent release. Substantial part of Akira’s route is translated really bad and is undergoing translation check. Also, in some places English text itself is hard to understand and uses inconsistent style.
As for the other routes – there was some progress on Nao’s route and small progress on Motoka’s route.
I made the patch and will release is as usual – it’ll be in the topic of our IRC channel. If you want to enjoy Akira’s route, I’d really recommend waiting until it’s finished instead of reading it right now though. I think it will probably take around 3 months to wrap it up.

Totally stalled for few months. I wouldn’t expect any news before YnS is completed, unless you’ll find someone willing to translate it (it’s doable, but requires a lot of searching for people on IRC).

Is there, and if not will there ever be an anime or ova for haruka na sora? Also, will there ever be a second season of the anime series yosuga no sora ever made?

Do you know if there is an anime, and if not then will one ever be made for Haruka Na Sora (preferably with English translation)? Also, do you know if a second season for the anime series Yosuga No Sora will ever be made? I ask this second question because I have seen quite a bit of discussion about this on a couple of other websites.
Yosuga no Sora anime used up quite a bit of the content for each route, so it would be hard to make a second season of the leftovers. I don’t think there will be a second season. As for Haruka na Sora, there are unexplored routes, but I doubt they are going to make an anime out of it. It’s just my opinion though – I haven’t searched for any news.
It’s been a good 4-5 years or so since YnS was animated so I highly doubt we will ever see Haruka na Sora animated. I doubt there would be a season 2 either since they covered all the important ground and conclusions in each girl’s route so they have nothing to go off of really.
Also has enough work been done to warrant another patch this month?

Doesn’t make that big of a difference if the next update comes out tomorrow or a month from now as long as there’s progress made. We’re willing to wait for it.
Well, if Shion really will include some stuff for Nao by the 14th then it might be worth to wait a bit more and if he doesn’t manage to do it by then simply post whatever was done till then.
Do you think you will have time to work on the patch on that day or would you prefer to do so now as you might be busy with something later?
I will be equally busy now and then. But I will find the time to post about the patch. That is usually not much work, unless something goes wrong.

Also I was wondering, I have been watching game footage from a guy who has been posting up sora and kazuha’s routes on youtube, but I am very interested in actually playing the game myself, do you know where I could download it or buy it? I tried looking for it but was unsuccessful and got a couple of viruses on my computer.
